First strike in the history of Genève Aéroport following the adoption of the draft salary policy. Traffic was completely interrupted for four hours. At the end of the day, a tripartite agreement between Genève Aéroport, SSP and Compers was signed putting an end to the strike.

At 17:55, a BeechJet plane which was crossing the runway got stuck on the runway safety zone. This incident paralyses Genève Aéroport’s traffic until 21:49. More than 80 flights are impacted. After a first attempt, the SSLIA managed to raise the plane with an airbag under the wing and clear the runway.

GA-CFF experimentation with a « very early morning » train (with departure at 02:40) between Bienne and Genève Aéroport to allow passengers from the first wave to come to the airport by public transport.

Due to a conflict between management and the SSP union, strike by part of dnata staff from 04:00 until 12:00. The disruptions are contained with three rotations cancelled and a few flights delayed.
