Despite the profound crisis linked to COVID-19, Geneva Airport continued its action in terms of sustainable development. Although some actions have been temporarily suspended and investments frozen, the policy in favor of sustainable development has been continued in 2020 and 2021.
Our 2021 Sustainability report communicates Geneva Airport's performance against its sustainability commitments. More detailed information is available on our main website.
At a time when the COVID crisis is finally coming to an end, Geneva Airport was keen to draw up this report describing the performance of Geneva Airport in managing these issues, the objectives pursued and the progress of significant projects implemented before the crisis.
Reporting framework and period
In preparing its Sustainability report and selecting indicators, Geneva Airport relies on the international reporting standard of the Global Reporting Initiative. The GRI 2016 standards and the specific supplement for airport operators are used, without however seeking compliance with these standards.
The information in this report covers the years 2020 to 2021.
A summary table of economic, social and environmental indicators for the years 2019 to 2021 can be downloaded as an annex to the report.
